Mas de Daumas Gassac Rosé Frizant | Cab Sauv | Languedoc, France

What is natural wine? Generally, wines are considered natural if they are made with very little intervention and minimal to no use of chemicals and additives. If you’ve ever had an interest in trying a natural wine, this is the one to take the plunge with. Mas de Daumas Gassac started making “natural wines” in the 1970s, before it was considered cool. They planted their grape vines in between the trees on their property and made wines without chemicals, commercial yeast, filtering, or any sort of additive. Their sparkling rosé, made primarily from Cabernet Sauvignon, is extremely elegant and refreshing, with lively bubbles and bold red fruit flavor
